MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET

CONCRETE CURE - CURING COMPOUND

1. PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:

  • Clear, odourless liquid.

  • Density: 1.296 to 1.396 g/cm3

  • Soluble in water and glycerine - slightly alcohol.

2. DESCRIPTION:

  • Water, glass, sodium silicate.

3. HAZARD:

  • Low to moderate hazard - corrosive.

4. FIRST AID:

  • Skin:

    • Flush with running water for 20 minutes.

  • Eyes: 

    • Hold eyelids open and flush with water for 20 minutes.

  • Ingestion: 

    • Seek medical attention.

  • Inhalation: 

    • Move victim to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen for 1 hour.

5. FIRE:

  • Product is non-flammable.

6. SMALL FIRE:

  • Dry chemical, CO2, water spray or foam.

7. SPILL:

  • Take up with sand or other non-combustible, absorbent material.

8. OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE:

  • No exposure limit established.

9. PERSONAL PROTECTION:

  • Wear overalls, safety goggles/face shield, gloves and boots.

10. REACTIVITY:

  • Avoid contact with acid.

11. TRANSPORTATION:

  • Not regulated.
